 Dear Readers:

Due to numerous problems with the posting board that came about when I attempted to add the archives section, this site is temporarily down.

I will attempt to have another posting board using Tripod's posting board. I cannot add the archives, as far as I know at this point. I am sorry about that, but until I can figure it out, there it is.

I want to thank those who were regular readers and posters to the site. This site could be up and running again in a week, or maybe a day, or maybe more. I am trying to fit this in among other projects I am doing that must take a front seat to this site right now.

Thank you for your patience. Many, many of you have expressed your appreciation for this site, and your enjoyment in reading it. Using Tripod's posting board will hopefully lay the posting problem to rest once and for all, since I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE THE URL AGAIN! Those who posted to the old BeSeen posting board may have to re-post whatever they wrote then, so that readers can have the benefit of your experiences at that place of employment. That, after all, is why I began this site, it is still anonymous, and always will be.

So, keep checking back, don't be shy in posting once it is up again, and feel free to re-write the good , the bad, and the ugly about your work places. Don't worry about getting dissed about "negativity". Keep the faith, and keep your fingers crossed. I truly believe that librarianship has a future, but librarians need to be much more aggressive in protecting their interests, and not just those of the public and the library systems which employ us.
